Quantity Surveyor / Project Controls Manager - Rail
Due to continued success, Astute Technical Recruitment are sourcing an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a world leading design, engineering and project management consultancy.
As Quantity Surveyor / Project Controls Manager you will work across a variety of projects ranging in the value of £1m - £50m+ across a variety of projects within the infrastructure sector - particularly Rail.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Provide pre and post contract quantity surveying services for major clients
- Plan, organise and control own workload under supervision
- Provide a professional interface with other disciplines and the client's representative
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery to clients
- Provide full efficient and effective services in all technical and contractual aspects of professional practice
As the ideal candidate you will be degree qualified within a relevant profession, have proven contribution to the delivery of a project or programme and conversant in all aspects of quantity surveying.
Ideally you will have experience within Rail (Ideally signals ) however other infrastructure sectors will be considered. As a candidate you will have broad understanding of NEC contracts, manage frameworks and deliver effect cost control and reporting.
