Our Client is one of the UK's leading provider of Environmental solutions, offering a full range of Waste and Energy Recovery services through a vast and growing network of Plants and Facilities across the country. As such they are looking for an Production Supervisor to join one of their established plants in the Ipswich area.
What you will be doing
As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the safe and efficient day to day operation of the recycling plant under the direction of the Production Manager and maximise the operations of the facility.
Ensure the Production and relevant departments within the business deliver to KPI's ensuring production targets are achieved.
The Production Supervisor will ensure the site plant and equipment operates to maximum efficiency in a safe and controlled manner and that all operations are recorded formally.
Produce weekly and month end information and key statistical data to the Production Manager.
This role is working on a rotating shift pattern including night shifts. Please only apply if this is suitable.
What you will need
Previous experience in a similar production role or environment including waste management, recycling, aggregates, manufacturing or industrial.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety regulation and safe systems of work
A proven track record of employee management and production management of an industrial / factory type facility
Ability to maintain a good standard of administration, cost control and record keeping
