Experienced Production Manager / Operations Manager sought by leading organisation in the manufacturing & sustainable energy sectors for their well-established 24/7 process plant in Kinmel Bay, North Wales.
Working for an important player in the sustainable energy industry, this company is looking for a Production Manager to oversee the day to day successful running of a site containing a large existing process plant. You will lead a large established team including Logistics, Production Operations & engineering plus ensuring training / upskilling of staff, with the overall aim of ensuring the safe & profitable running of the site.
With a responsibility for managing the logistics & operations of staff & contractors, this is a challenging role that will be very visible to board level management & continued success will result in further career opportunities. To be considered you will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent experience in engineering, with logistics & operational experience gained in the manufacturing, sustainable renewable energy sector or similar. Experience gained at a similar level such as Operations Manager, Regional Manager, Area Manager or Production Manager will be required as well as a broad understanding of process engineering (manufacturing, chemicals, food, power generation, cement works etc).
