Introduction
Our Client provide UK recycling solutions across the polymer industry, both processing and converting plastic waste. They are now looking for a Production Manager to join their Leeds based polymers facility, where they re-process and reproduce a wide range of advanced plastic products and formats.

The Role
As the Production Manager you will be responsible for the full and efficient running of the plant including the overseeing of engineers, picking teams and shift managers, as well as maintaining maintenance schedules, health and safety, and legislation.

Role Responsibilities
As the Production Manager reporting to the Operations Director, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • The Daily management of the recycling and reprocessing operations
  • Liaising and managing plant operators, site foremen, engineers, and shift managers
  • Adhering to and managing all Health and Safety, legislations, company procedures and compliance
  • Maintaining and managing maintenance schedules, including systems checks across the plant
  • Updating training plans
  • Responsibility for maximising production output across all departments
  • Management of the production line, including performance targets and quality standards


The Ideal Candidate
As the ideal candidate you will have:

  • A Bachelors' Degree or equivalent in management or relevant field
  • Knowledge and experience within industrial maintenance
  • Strong relevant experience across waste, manufacturing, or environmental industries
  • Knowledge of waste and environmental legislation
  • Full Driving License
  • First Aid, Manuel Handling, CPCS or equivalent
  • WAMITAB Level 4 - preferred
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese - preferred
