Astute Technical Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and driven Principle Structural Engineer to join our client who is a world leading design, engineering and project management consultancy.
With ambitious plans for the South West, this role will be part of the Building Design practice working with a number of major clients on high profile projects across the UK and abroad.

The Role

As Principal Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited too;

  • Ensure the provision of efficient, high quality structural engineering design
  • Deliver multiple projects and part of a project team within budget controls and specifications.
  • Be first point of contact for clients, contractors and design team.
  • Be a technical champion assisting the broader team in mentoring and development


The Candidate

As the ideal candidate you will be a Chartered Engineer. You will be technically astute and have experience in the design of common structural materials and strong understating of working practices. You will have excellent client relationships with the ability to manage budgets, programs, cost controls. Excellent communication is essential and previous experience of bid preparation is a benefit.
