Astute Technical Recruitment are looking for an experienced Planning Consultant to join our client who specialise in providing consultancy services for a range of projects such as renewable energy, infrastructure and housing. They advise on multiple disciplines such as planning, permitting, landscape, ecology and environmental impact.

Roles & Responsibilities:
As Planning Consultant reporting to the Planning Director and Planning Manager your duties will consist of (but not be limited to): -

  • Carry out site appraisal and assessment
  • Provide pre-application advice, support with planning submissions/applications
  • Handle planning appeals, inquiries and hearings


Skills & Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced Planning Consultant with the following: -

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Astute understanding of current planning legislation and a keen interest in the energy sector
  • Degree in Town Planning or similar is desirable although not essential if you have proven experience
