Job Title - Operations Manager/ General Manager
Salary - £55,000 DOE plus package

Our Client is one of the UK's leading nationwide integrated waste management business providing collection, treatment, recycling and technologically-driven energy generation service
Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for an Operations Manager / General Manager to be responsible for their flagship MRF facility in North London.
As Operations Manager/ General Manager you will be responsible for the entire operation and commercial management of this high-profile waste processing facility. You will maximise the recycling and recovery rates of the plant, driving financial improvement ensuring full compliance within the business operating procedures and external legislation.
As Operations Manager, you will manage the commercial contract ensuring key stakeholder relationships across the business and externally are nurtured and developed. You will have full responsibility for the controlling of costs for treatment, disposal, labour maintenance, ensuring financial targets are met and budget constraints are adhered to across the facility.
You will drive Health and Safety culture as a priority, practicing professional team management at all times and ensuring all operators and contractors are working at maximum efficiency.
As the ideal candidate you will have previous experience of management within large or multiple waste processing or aggregate facilities. You will have a good knowledge of material processing and treatment operations. You will have excellent knowledge of plant and the relevant machinery for processing, and degree qualified within a relevant discipline. You will hold current COTC or be willing to achieve. Team management experience is essential.
