Maintenance Technician (Fabricator)
Salary of £30,500 + a shift premium £5228
4 on 4 off shift pattern (includes nights)
Our Client is one of the UK's leading provider of Environmental solutions, offering a full range of Waste and Energy Recovery services through a vast and growing network of Plants and Facilities across the country. As such they are looking for a Maintenance Technician (Fabricator) to join one of their established plants in Crayford.
What you will be doing
Provide fabrication and welding services to company facilities
Ensure all repairs and maintenance are carried out to the highest standard in a cost-effective manner and within highest regard to safety
Responsible for all planning, organisation and carry out of preventive and reactive work
Delivering improvement projects including cost reduction and plant reliability
A 'Clean as you go ' approach must be adopted at all times, ensuring all tools, parts and materials are in good working order and available to minimise downtime.
What you will need
To be considered for this position you will need to have a recognised Level 3 NVQ/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You will have experience of working with low levels of supervision in a high-pressure production environment. Maintenance experience from within a relevant industry (power generation, energy from waste, waste management, heavy process) is a must. Specific waste industry experience, MRF / MPT / Polymers would be advantageous
