Maintenance Supervisor
Up to £43,000 Basic

Our client is an International Recycling and Resource Management company, operating over 200 specialist treatment plants worldwide. Their established plant in Basildon is a fully operational MRF & Mechanical Biological Treatment facility processing residential waste from Essex and the surrounding areas. Our Client is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and carrying out PPM on all plan and equipment to ensure maximum plant availability with minimum downtime.
  • Recording all work and compliance information on the company CMMS.
  • Conducting and carrying out any preventative maintenance and compliance inspections
  • Providing training, guidance and support to other members on site
  • Conducting permits to work

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 17th or 18th Edition
  • Previous experience within a Supervisor position
  • Previous experience within the waste industry would be ideal
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, control panel and I/O fault finding, and inverter experience would be advantageous.
