Junior Instrument Technician
£22k + 10% rise on completion of probation


Astute are looking to recruit an ambitious individual keen to develop their skills in electronics / control systems engineering for an excellent opportunity based in Cumbria with an industry award winning employer.

The Person

Prior experience of electrical maintenance works gained in a production engineering environment is key, ideally with a focus on instrumentation and control systems used in various plant machinery used to deliver high precision multi-discipline manufacturing process. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Maintenance and fault finding of CNC control systems
  • 3 phase / single phase motor controls
  • Overhead crane / lifting systems
  • 17/18th edition
