We are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading provider of Waste Water / Water Treatment technologies in the UK. Working as a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing various Water treatment technologies within the healthcare and scientific industries. This will see you travelling throughout Newcastle and occasionally client sites outside of these areas.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for…
- Preforming pre-planned / breakdown maintenance and services.
- Assisting clients with technical faults.
- Installing new equipment when needed.
- Completing risk assessments, activity reports and other documentation as required.
- Offering after sales technical support.
- A field-based role requiring out of hours cover and rapid response.
To be considered for this position candidates will be expected to have a background in performing mechanical maintenance / service work.
Experience working within the scientific or healthcare industry is desirable as well as a NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
Full training will be provided to get you up to speed on the equipment and technologies you will be working with.
