Engineering Manager (Decommissioning)
Length of Contract - 12 months +
Location - Berkshire
Rate - £55-60.00 per hour
Start Date - ASAP

As Engineering Manager, you will have ultimate responsibility for the successful delivery of the project to be completed on time, within budget and finished to the highest standard for a decommissioning programme
Responsibilities include:
· Working in collaboration with Decommissioning Partner, provide engineering input to HAZID/HAZANs
· Manage external Design House to deliver interim designs for High Pressure and Process Extract Decommissioning works
· Manage external Design House to deliver detailed designs for Decommissioning of Glovebox 3, Box Bay Line and Lower Pressurised Suit Area
· Organisation and management of Interim and Cat C Design Reviews in accordance with OP-107 and WI-107-04 and production of associated Design Review Reports
· Co-ordination of supply chain partners to develop and approve the methodology and supporting paperwork for demolition of a contaminated stack
· Manage supply chain partners to deliver the safe demolition of the stack
· General support to Decommissioning Programme including support to the Project Managers to advise on supply chain management, programme and budgeting

Essential Requirements:

  • Experienced in providing support to nuclear rekit /installation works.
  • Security Clearance is vital for the role and will need to have DV level in place.
