Engineering Manager - Renewable Energy

Astute are currently seeking to recruit an Engineering Manager / O&M Manager / Maintenance Manager, to manage engineering projects and oversee a team of Technicians on multiple 24/7 process plants. Our client is a leading organisation within the Renewable Energy sector, with the opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join their team.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Engineering Director, as Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing Technicians and Engineers across sites
- Planning and managing maintenance schedules for plant equipment
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are always followed
- Project manage engineering tasks
- Review and initiate the day to day operation of the plant
- Support on call operators when required
- Other duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Relevant experience in an Engineering Management/Supervisory position. Ideally you will have experience working within the Renewable Energy/Process Engineering sectors and hold a relevant engineering qualification (HND, HNC or similar).
Mechanical experience working on heavy engineering equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes etc is essential.

What's on offer for this exciting role:
The package on offer for this position includes a basic salary up to £45,000 DOE plus the opportunity to join a company who are currently undergoing a significant level of growth.
