Engine Technician - Green Energy
Up to £35,000 plus benefits (incl. van)
Hampshire - Field Based
We are currently seeking to recruit an Engine Maintenance Technician / Engine Technician, to carry out routine & reactive maintenance on a range of Landfill Gas Engines on sites across Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Our client is a leading organisation within the waste management & green energy sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Engine Technician to join their team.
As an Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Routine & reactive maintenance on Landfill Gas reciprocating engines such as Jenbacher, Caterpillar (CAT) & Perkins.
- Conducting checks & maintenance on electrical systems, generators and HV equipment.
- Performing inspections & maintenance on the gas field, along with gas balancing.
- Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times.
- Other duties as required.
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / NVQ / City & Guilds etc.). You should have experience carrying out maintenance on large reciprocating engines (Caterpillar, Perkins, Cummins, Jenbacher, or similar).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a large competitor within the Waste Management & Green Energy sector. This position requires travel to multiple sites across the Hampshire region, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
The package on offer for this role includes a salary in the region of £35,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits including van, pension & holidays.
