Astute Technical Recruitment are sourcing an EC&I Engineer to join an International Engineering and Design consultancy to be based in Warrington.

As EC&I engineer you be responsible for delivering on array of projects across the Nuclear, Defence, Infrastructure, Commercial and Public sectors. As EC&I Engineer you task's will include, but not limited too:
- Assisting in the production of Bid / Estimates
- Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Design
- Ensuring Safety substantiation
- Implement Safety Instrumented Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers
- Lightning protection
- Driving Safety standards (IEC 61508, 61511, 61513), SIL categorisation & safety lifecycle
- Availability, Reliability and Maintainability
- Fault trees, FMEA, HAZOP knowledge
As the ideal candidate you will be working towards chartership, have a relevant engineering degree or extensive relevant experience, and be able to demonstrate sound technical EC&I knowledge and experience.
You will also have a working knowledge of BS7671 and Medium/High Voltage Electrical Distribution Design. You will have experience of ATEX, COSER, commissioning electrical and control systems, maintaining electrical and control systems plus security systems equipment, communications systems design (Ethernet and field bus communications) and knowledge of software development for process control
