Associate Director Quantity Surveying (Rail & Highways)
Up to £70K DOE
Due to business growth, Astute Technical Recruitment are looking for an established Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join a world leading international design, engineering and project management consultancy.
As Associate Director QS, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the Transportation (Rails & Highways) team through delivering and winning work with new and an existing client portfolio.
As Associate Director QS, you will report to the Regional Director contributing to the strategic plan for the team. You will be involved in business development activity and be specifically responsible for the delivery of major commissions, stimulating profitable growth for the team.
In addition, you will be responsible for;
- Building long term relationships with the Local Authorities, public sector and private sector clients
- Developing business by accessing higher margin work and increasing client spend
- Advising on all technical and legal matters relevant to the projects
- Project Management and Leadership across a variety of high value projects
- Project Cost and Commercial accountability
As the ideal candidate you will have a proven track record of leading projects on behalf of local or national highway authorities in a Project Director/ Senior Quantity Surveyor capacity. You will be a member or working towards a RCIS, ICE or similar. You will have extensive NEC contract knowledge and experience of leading account management activities for highway or infrastructure clients.
