Air Safety Consultant
Our client, a leading international Engineering and Design consultancy are looking for an Air Safety Consultant to join their established team to provide Safety Engineering to a vast portfolio of clients within the Military Aviation, Airworthiness and Safety Management.
Within this role you will be providing a range of independent and unbiased advice in engineering, technical and strategic advisory services to a wide breath of markets providing guidance and direction in the development of aviation certification, airworthiness and safety management solutions.
In addition, you will be responsible for;
- Development and generation of Safety Assessment Reports;
- Developing Safety Management solutions at enterprise, platform or at system level;
- Developing proposals and providing technical assurance;
- Developing innovative Safety Management solutions to support operations;
- Building sustainable relationships with clients and develop future business opportunities;
- Preparation and presentation of reports to both internal and external clients;
As the ideal candidate you will have a strong understanding and working knowledge of Safety Critical Systems Engineering. You will be Chartered/Incorporated Engineer or equivalent and have a working knowledge of industry and other Defence Standards such as Def Stan 00-056.
You will have experience of the development of Airworthiness Strategies / Safety Management Plans and conducting/supporting safety related techniques such as FHA, ZHA, FTA, ETA, FMECA and/or CBA.
In addition, you will understand the application of, ASPIRE, Air System Loss Models, BowTies, GSN/CAE; and/or HERMES plus MRP & MACP.
