Javelin Park 'Crewing-up' project
In 2018, Astute were awarded a contract by Urbaser for the recruitment of all staff for their new-build Energy from Waste (EfW) plant in the Gloucester area. This included all of the Operations & Maintenance Teams, O&M Management and Engineering functions. Having successfully delivered a similar project previously for Urbaser at another site, along with over 20 other similar projects around the UK, Astute were the natural choice for this project.
We had a period of 12 months from receiving Notice to Proceed on the project, to the final staff members commencing employment and we are pleased to say that we delivered on time and to budget. Working with Urbaser, we not only identified and shortlisted the suitable candidates, but also helped with the interview and testing process to ensure best value was delivered at all times.
