Astute are proudly partnered with a forward-thinking business who manage a range of critical national infrastructure, including pipelines, storage and distribution terminals. They are currently seeking a Graduate Project Engineer with a mechanical bias. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate who is looking to launch their career with an established business who can provide genuine progression opportunities alongside a great workplace culture.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Graduate Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • The co-ordination and execution of projects within the engineering department
  • Providing specialist consultancy services
  • Control of the whole project lifespan from approval to handover and commissioning
  • Maintaining good engineering standards and compliance with national/international/client/company standards on all engineering designs
  • Providing prospective clients with technical input and estimates
  • Ensuring continued business by developing strong relationships with clients

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Engineering Degree (mechanical bias)
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience or knowledge of oil and gas pipelines and associated facilities (desirable)
