Assistant Project Manager
£30,000 - £45,000

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join a company in Bristol that supports the operation and building of nuclear power plants. You will be assisting the Project Manager to ensure the strategic delivery of 40 plus families of piping components based.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining trackers
  • Assisting the PM in the monitoring, reporting and management
  • Completing design, calculation, tender processes, and subcontract supply
  • Assisting the PM in monitoring the piping contractors ITT process, the early identification and resolution of project, design, quality and commercial issues
  • Setting up and managing bi- weekly multi-disciplined meetings of all NNB and subcontractor stakeholders
  • Identification, monitoring, reporting and progressing of manufacturing pre-requisite documentation

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • 3 years of experience as an assistant project manager; ideally on a mechanical project
  • Team player with experience of working in large complex multi-disciplined teams
  • Influencing skills and good communication
  • Organised and methodical with an eye for details
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a bias for action
  • All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK
  • You will be subject to satisfactory security clearance which includes 3 years reference checks
  • Verification of any qualifications/passport/licences must be shown at interview stage

Salary & Package
