Distribution Channel Manager - Solar Inverter

Remote Position

£45k - £50k DOE, plus excellent perks and bonus


Astute are proud to be working with a leading business in the Solar sector to recruit a Distribution Channel Manager. Our client is the market leader in their field, manufacturing and supplying their inverter technology to the sector and we're looking for a Distribution Channel Manager to be responsible for managing and developing existing distribution partners and managing relationships with installers.
This is a fully remote position, with the company's HQ in Milton Keynes. You must be flexible to be able to get to the office and distribution partners on the odd occasion an, but this can genuinely be a remote position.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, as a Distribution Channel Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Day to day Distribution Partner management, in line with the company strategy
  • Responsible for sales enablement of the entire product portfolio, with primary focus on inverters for grid-connected solar systems using string and batteries inverters
  • Actively supporting with the delivery of regular events, including speaking opportunities, sales, seminars and product training to the Distribution partners, installers and preferred partners
  • Setting up quarterly Business reviews at the customer in conjunction with the Sales Director and Key Account Managers
  • Analysis of sales data to identify trends, presenting the information to the sales team and distribution partners
  • Working with the service team to enable the sale of extended warranties and other service sales solutions

Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Natural ability to build long term business relationships
  • Highly customer and goal orientated, flexible as a team player
  • Understanding of marketing and sales, is commercially astute
  • Experience in building and managing multiple distribution networks
  • Customer orientated sales professional, working experience in distribution sales and or marketing for sophisticated technical products
  • Solar or Renewable Energy knowledge would be highly advantageous
