Introduction…
We are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician/ Field Service Engineer, to carry out planned & reactive maintenance on a range of Landfill & CHP Gas Engines. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities
As an Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Planned & reactive maintenance on Landfill Gas sites.
  • Carrying out fault finding activities on the gas engines.
  • Performing remote start-ups of back-up engines if there is a breakdown.
  • Planned and reactive maintenance on gas fields and carrying out repairs as necessary
  • Working as part of a team of Engineers, ensuring safe & efficient operation of the generating plant.
  • Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times
  • Other duties as required



Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Relevant degree or HNC/HND/NVQ or experience
  • Experience carrying out maintenance on large reciprocating engines
  • Experience working on large process equipment (pumps, motors etc)
  • Happy to travel across the Southwest and Southeast of the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Other duties as required



Salary & Package
