Introduction
We're looking for an experienced Commercial Solar Project Manager to join our client's market leading company specialising in the design, installation and commissioning of commercial roof-top solar PV, EV charging and battery storage projects across the UK. They have thrived in recent years and have exciting plans moving forward, and as a result they are now looking to expand their team to facilitate future success.

Role and Responsibilities
The Commercial Solar Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Manage the installation of large commercial roof-top solar PV projects concurrently (250kw+) - usually 3 or 4 projects at a time
  • Liaise closely with the project coordinator for planning and scheduling of workforce and materials
  • Carry out pre-start surveys and risk assessments, deliver RAMS on site
  • Maintain strong relationship with client, be the main POC on site and deliver update reports
  • Ensure projects are delivered to specification, in a timely manner and within budget
  • Primarily a site based role, report to office a few times a month

Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this Commercial Solar Project Managerposition will:

  • Project Management experience
  • Proven background within commercial Solar PV sector
  • Excellent knowledge of H&S, ideally SMSTS or similar
  • Experience working to ISO standards
  • Highly organised and excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving License
