Project Manager - District Heating
South West England
6 Month Contract

Introduction…
We are looking for a Project Manager, specifically with at least five years Power Generation experience, ideally in the District Heating sector. The client is a global Power Generation company based out of Nottingham. This work includes a Project based in the South West, so you'll have to be flexible with travelling.


Roles & Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the project execution and contract performance
  • Managing all HSSE and QA standards
  • Allocation of resource and managing staffing requirements
  • Reporting updates to key stakeholders
  • Adhering to the project scope, HSSE regulations, budget, quality & time


Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering sector
  • Significant Project Management experience working on new "Energy Asset" projects, this could be District Heating Schemes, CHP's, Biomass / Waste to Energy Plants or traditional large scale Power Generation projects
  • CDM practitioner, in the role of Principal Contractor
  • APM / PMI experience
  • Proven track record in delivering projects on time & on budget
