Introduction…
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to lead a large manufacturing and fabrication project for a leading Engineering company in Stockton-on-Tees for an immediate start.

Roles and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
  • Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems.
  • Directs integration or technical activities and products.
  • Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications and drawing releases.
  • Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.
  • Prepares interim and completion project reports.
  • Work in conjunction with the Design Manager and Operations Manager to ensure that all engineering works meet the quality and HSE requirements of the contract.
  • Be aware of the basis of the estimate and programme and identify any potential changes, which may affect cost or programme, as early as possible.


The suitable candidate will have extensive experience with fabrication and large manufacturing project and have experience with welding processes and procedures.
