We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join one of the UK’s largest providers of Power at one of their Power Stations in Oxfordshire.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join a major Power Station in their Maintenance Team. The role involves maintaining the availability and safe, fault free operation of all of the Process Control and Instrumentation equipment and systems installed on the Power Station.

This role is to support the Power Station on all problems associated with C&I systems, determine and implement maintenance strategies, manage contractors on site, develop and implement plant improvement modifications and to ensure that safe systems of work are adhered to regarding Control and Instrumentation systems.

To be considered for this vacancy you should have a relevant qualification and experience in maintaining PLC’s, electronic turbine governors, pressure, level, flow, temperature, vibration and expansion measurement equipment along with the water and gas chemistry instrumentation within a heavy engineering/ process plant related industry.

The successful applicant can be rewarded with a salary of up to £35k + around 10% annual bonus, possible relocation, healthcare and an excellent pension scheme.
