A Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager, with extensive Major Installation / Construction Project Management experience, is required to join a leading London based client. You will be a Chartered Engineer, HV Senior Authorised Person, and a Prince 2 Practitioner, and have experience with Data Centres, Computer Rooms or other Telecommunications / Mission Critical environments.

Providing Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Systems Design, Specification and Project Management experience, you will design, review and upgrade existing data centre Electrical Distribution Systems, incorporating HV / LV, UPS, Static Switches, and back-up Generators which are all components of mission critical data centres. The role requires a Degree (Or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, and strong experience of Electrical Engineering design / project management, and Environmental Engineering Systems. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, you should also have the freedom to travel Europe wide (Approximately 3 days per week).

Determining Engineering Design standards for operational sites, you will specify plant and equipment, ensuring standard methodology is adopted. Providing Electrical and Mechanical design input, you will project manage capital projects, ensuring cost, quality, schedule, health and safety and environmental standards. Also involved in the production of accurate cost plans for proposed capital projects, approval of Senior Authorised Persons, and appointment and management of design concept and build contractors.

Role based in London, with European travel for approximately 3 days a week.
