July 2011 - Exhibiting at RWM 2011
Astute Technical Recruitment has announced that it will exhibit at RWM 2011, the biggest event in the UK dedicated to recycling, waste management and resource efficiency. For 2011, RWM has merged with Futuresource (organised by the CIWM) and the combined “RWM in partnership with CIWM” event at the NEC from 13th - 15th September 2011 is set to feature more than 650 exhibitors from all sectors of the industry.
Terry Buckel, Managing Director of Astute Technical Recruitment said “2010 was a busy year for Astute and we took the opportunity to increase our capability in the waste management sector with the hire of additional experienced technical recruitment staff. As a result, in the first half of 2011 we have seen excellent growth driven by companies’ need to be ever more efficient in their waste management strategy. We will be exhibiting at RWM 2011 in order to widen the awareness of the Astute brand and give hands-on advice and input to both clients and candidates on recruitment issues affecting the waste management industry.”
Staff on the Astute stand (no 2810), will be running two separate activities during the event:
1. A Jobseeker clinic - hands-on advice for experienced candidates looking to further their career within the Waste Management, Energy from Waste and Recycling sectors. Bring a CV to get immediate feedback on how to present your strengths and also get tips on building relationships with recruiters, using Linked-in and Facebook and how to prepare for interviews.
