Providing a high quality, responsive and consistent service is at the heart of what we do at Astute. We have standard operating procedures and a management system in place to ensure that we deliver the high level of service that our customers deserve.

We are members of the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) which is the main representative body for the UK’s recruitment and staffing industry with a membership of more than 8,000 members. This membership incorporates a legal service which allows Astute to keep abreast of all changes in legislation which in recent years has included changes in Employment law, Employment Agencies Regulations and the forthcoming Agency Workers regulations. We embrace the REC Code of Professional Practice and are active participants in Industry and Regional events with the REC.

We are members of APSCo (the Association of Professional Staffing Companies) which is a a representative body specifically for recruitment companies which focus on recruitment for professional and engineering skills. This membership gives us specific advice on legislation that covers professional contract workers and allows us to share knowledge, research and best practice with similar quality-orientated recruitment businesses in our sector.

We are members of Professional Passport, a professional organisation that provides us with information, guidance and support services to assist with candidate identity verification, right to work investigation and other candidate and contracting services.
